Ok, so maybe I have been known to exaggerate a story or two here and there, but this one is for real - I've even got proof this time!!!
When Matt and I came back from Indy the other week, we walked out to where my car was parked at the airport (in extended stay parking). This is the note we found:
That's right, folks - "wind gusts in excess of 90 mph!!!" This was the fabulous result of those wind gusts...
Props to the Midland Airport staff though. They came out and covered up my window with a big piece of plastic and used non-stick tape. Everything had been soaked though! I had a book in the front seat of the car that was still wet when we got there - yup - front seat. So the 90MPH wind was definitely blowing right into my car! Yippee!!
Now who thinks I'm exaggerating about the Permian Basin winds?? I'm probably not the only one who's been blown out of their car :)

Holy Mackrel....sorry to see the damage those winds did to the coche. Just think what would have happened had they not put the plastic sheeting on to protect it...I'm sure you headed the warning to remove it before driving....crazy huh
Sweet puppy ;0)
Poor car....I am so glad that you wern't there when it happened.
Love,
