Drew's Seahorse
Drew used to like this seahorse when he was "little." He would stare at its eyes while the music played. Here's his reaction now that he's older (and this is without fail, every single time the music starts)...
Sarah, I think we'll need to start that fund for his future therapy pretty soon!! Poor kid :)

Punkin Adventures
Our sweet pumpkin with his Halloween Pumpkin. Little did he know what was in store for him...
We had grand visions of letting Drew play wiht a pumpkin for Halloween.
We let him get dirty and play with the guts (lots of intervention from mom when it came to pumpkin seeds in the mouth!).
Then, we had the grand idea to carve leg holes in the pumpkin and let him sit inside. (Thanks for the awesome idea, Poths!) This is where things went south. Quick!Oct 26, 2010

Happy (Early) Halloween!

Thank you to Kristi B. & Kala for these fabulous costumes! We borrowed quite a cute selection for Drew to try out for Halloween. The dalmation was a tad too small, but toooooo cute not to squeeze into for a pic! These dog outfits are perfect because Drew has discovered Molly in a big way. He LOVES puppies!!

Car Seats
Ok, experienced parents -- Where is the best place to look for safety information on convertible carseats? I guess I should start with this question: Is a convertible carseat the next step after the infant carrier? What is the difference between Convertible, 3-in-1, and Combination? We still love Drew's infant carrier, and it goes up to 32 lbs, so we are good for awhile. I'm just trying to start my research for his big boy car seat!
Any tips, suggestions, reviews are much appreciated!
Thanks!

Pumpkin Patch
Today we went to visit the Cowboy Junction's annual pumpkin patch!
Shocking News: Pumpkins DO grow in the desert!!!
Drew and his buddy, Austin, hanging out in the patch. For some reason we put the kids right in front of their pumpkins, so you can't even see the pumpkins - oops! We got there about 30 minutes after it opened and you can tell by the picture that most of the pumpkins were already gone! Note to self - go early next year!Private Blog...
Sorry for the inconvenience this causes, but I got pretty creeped out by 2 different blog stalkers! One was looking at our blog for 30+ minutes at a time, viewing multiple pages, multiple times per day and would not leave me a comment to let me know who it was! I can tell from my Site Meter that they looked at my blog multiple times AFTER I posted asking for them to let me know who they were.....CREEPER! I hope this new format doesn't make it too cumbersome to check out our blog, but I feel much better about this, especially with pictures of Drew being posted!
Visitors
I've noticed on my Site Meter that I've had quite a few new visitors from locations I don't recognize. Drop me a comment and let me know who you are!

8 Months Old 9.26.10
Our precious lil guy is 8 months old! Every month he just gets more and more fun! We just love his little personality sooo much!
Dapper Dude
"Join me on my yacht, ladies?"
I have 2 teefers!!The week Drew turned 8 months old, he started crawling! Way to go, Drewski!
This post is a little bit late because Drew and I spent about 10 days in Carrollton. We made the trip to go to Halie's baby sprinkle and while we were there my Me-Maw passed away. She was 97 years old. Anything I type here won't do her justice, so I'll just say that we loved her a lot and she will be missed.

First Finger Foods
This is one for the grandparents...Drew's first bite of a finger food. He tried the Gerber banana flavored puffs (thank you, Keri!) and isn't so sure he likes them! He's had them and a few other finger foods since and he's still not sure sure about this whole "real food" idea. I think he prefers the puree!

Drew's Infant Dedication & Weekend

Today we had Drew dedicated at church and Matt and I finally became official members. It was a really nice service and Drew did great! Grandma and Pops came out for the dedication and are still here (playing with Drew).
We also celebrated Pops' bday. This is my first attempt at a fondant cake! Sep 15, 2010
Poindexter Ladies Retreat
Last weekend Drew and I headed to Midland to pick up grandma at the airport. From there we drove down to Sonora for a weekend of relaxation at the T-Saucer ranch. Our cousin, Lolabeth hosts a family girls' retreat each year and it is SO FUN! Drew was the only boy, but his cute cheeks let him get away with sneaking in this year. Thanks to Lolabeth & Cleve T for letting us invade their home!
