Blue Bird Circle Gala
Drew's neurologist was presented with an award by the Blue Bird Circle. I'm glad we were able attend the gala to show our appreciation for all he's done to help Drew.

In January, our doctors said he wouldn't walk again.
We said, "Our kid will wear out his shoes again!"
And he is!!!
Thank, God! This kid is pretty amazing.

PICU...again
This kid just had another PICU stay. He's seriously the strongest person I know. Long story (very) short, he had toxic levels of one of his seizures meds due to a drug interaction. His bone marrow was shutting down and he received platelet and plasma transfusions, among other blood products and medications. It was s.c.a.r.y., but he bounced back! We are still trying to adjust his Ned levels and having major issues with it. You'd never know by looking at this face (although you'd know right away if you were here- lots of screaming and insomnia going on)!!

Sweet boy was up at 4:45 am. My reward---snuggles! Love this kid.

Drew is loving PT in the pool! Hoping the weather stays warm enough for another month or two in the water. Perks of living in Texas!
