Drew's First Thanksgiving - South Carolina!

This year for Thanksgiving, Drew and I joined my parents and drove to South Carolina to visit the Poths. Matt stayed behind and worked for part of the week and then went to the A&M vs tu game in Austin with his dad. We had a great time in SC! Kristi had another thyroid surgery while we were there so it was a busy time. I guess because it was so busy, I didn't take as many pictures as I normally would have. Most of these pics are of the babes!

Katelyn loved to find Drew's paci (kack as she says) for him! So sweet!

Pops and MiniPops

Mama & Drew in the hotel on the way home from SC. Drew didn't feel well and for the first time EVER we actually put him in the car and drove around to try to calm him down :( He usually is a great sleeper.

Dapper Drew

My fashion philosophy: If an 80 year old man would wear it, it's perfect for Drew! Love it!

Katelyn has FUN toys!

Mimi & Drew on Drew's 1st Thanksgiving

Mimi and her grandbabies! Look at them sharing/playing together! So cute!

Confused? AgHorn!!! Since Matt wasn't going to be with us on the day of the game, he made me promise to include burnt orange in Drew's outfit for the day! LOL

Gig 'Em!

Lil Aggie!
(Keep reading - I made 2 posts today!)

Fun Pics from Drew's 9th Month!

Having fun w/ Mom! Look at those sweet cheekies!

Our stroller babies walking partners! Aren't they adorable all bundled up? We usually do about 3 miles/day with these little ones (and their mamas)!

Check out my teeth!! 2 on top and 2 on bottom so far! And no, you may not drive your truck through my top 2 ;)

Drew's pretty much on table food now for his solids! We decided to let him try the mashed potatoes on his own...!

Drew's famous pose! This is how he turns around to look back at people while crawling.

Drew's Seahorse

Drew used to like this seahorse when he was "little." He would stare at its eyes while the music played. Here's his reaction now that he's older (and this is without fail, every single time the music starts)...

Sarah, I think we'll need to start that fund for his future therapy pretty soon!! Poor kid :)

Punkin Adventures

Our sweet pumpkin with his Halloween Pumpkin. Little did he know what was in store for him...
We had grand visions of letting Drew play wiht a pumpkin for Halloween.

We let him get dirty and play with the guts (lots of intervention from mom when it came to pumpkin seeds in the mouth!).

Then, we had the grand idea to carve leg holes in the pumpkin and let him sit inside. (Thanks for the awesome idea, Poths!) This is where things went south. Quick!

Poor baby hated it!
There aren't any pics here for a bit because he slipped down inside the pumpkin, got his bootie stuck, and we had to cut him out of the pumpkin. Good times. Good times.

"After"
OOPS!

And a bath to wash the pumpkin guts off :)
Next year, I think we'll just do a jack-o-lantern!

Happy (Early) Halloween!

Thank you to Kristi B. & Kala for these fabulous costumes! We borrowed quite a cute selection for Drew to try out for Halloween. The dalmation was a tad too small, but toooooo cute not to squeeze into for a pic! These dog outfits are perfect because Drew has discovered Molly in a big way. He LOVES puppies!!

Car Seats

Ok, experienced parents -- Where is the best place to look for safety information on convertible carseats? I guess I should start with this question: Is a convertible carseat the next step after the infant carrier? What is the difference between Convertible, 3-in-1, and Combination? We still love Drew's infant carrier, and it goes up to 32 lbs, so we are good for awhile. I'm just trying to start my research for his big boy car seat!

Any tips, suggestions, reviews are much appreciated!

Thanks!

Pumpkin Patch

Today we went to visit the Cowboy Junction's annual pumpkin patch!
Shocking News: Pumpkins DO grow in the desert!!!

Drew and his buddy, Austin, hanging out in the patch. For some reason we put the kids right in front of their pumpkins, so you can't even see the pumpkins - oops! We got there about 30 minutes after it opened and you can tell by the picture that most of the pumpkins were already gone! Note to self - go early next year!

I think Drew's little crying face is sooo cute! Poor baby!

Poor Drew is a little sunburned from our walk this morning :(

Drew and Emma as cowboy and cowgirl!

Private Blog...

Sorry for the inconvenience this causes, but I got pretty creeped out by 2 different blog stalkers! One was looking at our blog for 30+ minutes at a time, viewing multiple pages, multiple times per day and would not leave me a comment to let me know who it was! I can tell from my Site Meter that they looked at my blog multiple times AFTER I posted asking for them to let me know who they were.....CREEPER! I hope this new format doesn't make it too cumbersome to check out our blog, but I feel much better about this, especially with pictures of Drew being posted!
I've noticed visitors from Palm Beach Gardens, FL and London, Ontario....Who are you?? I'd love to know!

Visitors

I've noticed on my Site Meter that I've had quite a few new visitors from locations I don't recognize. Drop me a comment and let me know who you are!

My Lil Lamb

The time has come...my precious baby has outgrown his swing! Let me preface by saying that Drew LOVES him some swing. Love is an understatement. This swing is his happy place, or should I say...was. We weighed him (just on our bathroom scale) and he's coming in at a whopping 23 lbs. The weight limit on the My Lil Lamb swing is 25 lbs. Thankfully, he's a good crib napper, but it's still a sad, sad day at the Fleharty casa!

Last Hoorah in the swing!

Last nap in the swing!

Love my big boy. So hard to believe he's not a baby anymore :)
