Pops and Gma Watch Drew!

My first week back to work was the first week of May. Pops and Gma came to watch Drew and man, were they a HUGE help. They looooved watching Drew and he loved it just as much! It sure made going back to work easier knowing he was with them! Thank you!

I'm waaaay behind on posting because...I went back to work in May! It's been busy busy and we've had a housefull of fabulous family to help take care of Drew while I was working. Now, I should be able to catch you up on the past month :)

After stopping in Dallas for Katie's shower and to meet Me-Maw, we headed up to Illinois. We stayed with Matt's aunt Gail and saw tons of family! Drew loves to work the crowd....!

****I'm WAAAY behind on posts! We took a 9 day road trip last month (Yes, WITH A THREE MONTH OLD)! I have tons to post and will put up the pics eventually :)

Walls!

Drew's enjoying his new walls! Look at this big boy sitting up by himself (with the help of his pillows)!

Last Saturday, Matt and his dad decided they wanted to do a home improvement project (lucky for me)!! So, they ripped up all the old baseboards and replaced them with these nice big ones. It's hard to tell, but these are 5 3/4 inch baseboards. They also repainted the entire room and put up wider door frames. We got bold (well, if you consider any shade of brown bold!) and chose a really dark color. It is called "cashmere" so we figured we couldn't go wrong. It's taken a little bit to get used to, but we like the dark color and LOVE the baseboards!!!

Matt's 30th Bday!

Drew had a special outfit to celebrate Matt's big day. Of course, Matt didn't want his picture taken (shocker!), so here's the one pic I have from his 30th bday! He's feeding Drew here!

ALL Matt wanted for his bday was a big dinner at home with all of his favorites....seared Ahi tuna, New York Strip, King Crab and Coffee Cake (his mom's recipe). Of course, I had to throw in some asparagus so the meal wasn't entirely meat!

I hope he turns 30 again REAL soon. YUMMO.
