Wii Bowling...

This Christmas there was a new ornament on the Kilgore tree. Here's my dad posing by his Wii Mii ornament and proclaiming victory over all family members in Wii bowling...

Matt took this as a personal challenge and has been practicing bowling during every commercial, etc. Here is his response...

Ok, Lex--- YOUR TURN!

Happy New Year!

Mexico

We didn't take many pictures in Mexico because we didn't want to tote our camera around. Here are the few we did take!

I loved that there was a Christmas tree!!!

Our Hobbs Tree
We overshot a little on the height so this picture shows the topper bending over at the ceiling! Guess we need to move to a house with higher ceilings before next Christmas ;)

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

More Christmas!

In Matt's grandma's kitchen
We found clothes to borrow in her closets and headed out to "build a snowman"
(but it was all ice...)!

The driveway -- looks like you could build a snowman, but not so!

THANKSGIVING TAILGATE '08

This Thanksgiving we celebrated Tailgate Style in Austin. Just before we watched my Aggies lose, we fried up a turkey, some potatoes, pickles, and biscuits. Dean also made a great salad to counter all the grease! The quote of the day from passersby was, "Nice Setup," which made Matt's day :) I was completely impressed that Matt handled ALL the logistics for this trip! Usually, that's my job! My only contribution this time around was the decor!

Every 2 years we also get to visit "our cow" at Amy's ice cream in the Arboretum! THE BEST!

We had one extra ticket to sell, so I made this irresistible sign to lure in potential customers. It sat there all day with no bites. Then, as I went to use the PINK portapotty (they were color coded!!!!), Matt and Dean sold the ticket!!!!!!!!!!!!! I still think it was the sign that sealed the deal. If you'll notice, the price includes $.01. This is because I promised to sell the ticket for MORE than face value. Booo ya!

Dirty Estonians!

Looks like I need to be more careful about how I phrase things on this blog! Apparently, Google has SUPERPOWERS. It is unbelievable. You may remember me posting about a neat widgit that records where people are located when they view your site. I have this widgit and every now and then I check it out of curiosity to see who is looking at this blog. If I notice something odd, like ESTONIA, I usually click on it for a more detailed report. This is what I found today...

If you enlarge this picture, you will see that someone from Estonia found this blog by doing a Google search for "pants half down!"

This bothers me on multiple levels. For one thing, why are you being dirty, Estonian?? And in addition, why does GOOGLE BRING UP MY BLOG under this search?!?!?!?! Dude.

(Go ahead, try it. I know you are going to do a Google search for "pants half down" right now!!!)

29

I had the distinct privilege today of texting my long time friend, Jason, to remind him that he is older than me. He bites the bullet tomorrow and turns the big 3-0. Back in high school we had lengthy discussions debating which of us were older. The arguments being that, although his birthday is before mine, I arrived a month late and he a month early. Back when we were 15 and wanting to be older, I of course argued that I was older. Now I do believe that I am younger :)

C-Town

I'm still 29...and HOLDING :)

This weekend I flew out to C-town for a quick trip to visit the fam. Kristi flew in from South Carolina so we had a mini-vacation. Since we won't be together on my bday, we celebrated. Mom and Kristi keep me in fashion. Check out my new scarf...whooo hooo!

Mom and I also drove out to visit the Carpenter's and their latest addition, baby Drew! He is a GREAT baby and so cute. Love that little fam!
